'MACtemaik' rose Description

Bloom: Red, cream streaks, stripes, flecks, yellow streaks, stripes, flecks, orange streaks, stripes, flecks.  Mild fragrance.  25 petals.  Average diameter 4".  Large, double (17-25 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters, in large clusters, high-centered to cupped, spiral centers bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.   
Habit: Tall, bushy, upright.  Medium, matte, dark green foliage.  
 Height: 47" to 5¼' (120 to 160cm).
 
Growing: USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower, exhibition or garden.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.

Notes: Artist Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni was born in Capres, Italy, 6 March 1475. He died in Rome, Italy, 18 February 1564. Apuldram's Roses say this rose has a striped flower of cream and orange that is similar but less vivid than 'Oranges 'n' Lemons'...
