'Cottage Rose ®' rose Reviews & Comments

I planted this rose in my parent's yard about 15 years ago. It has been neglected that entire time. It blooms and grows as if it was taken care of by a master gardener. With no winter protection it has survived with little damage in zone 4b.

oh help ;-p I just found a rose in my garden, hidden under/behind a butterfly bush. It's either "Queen of Denmark" or Austin's "Cottage Rose." At one time, in that general area, I had both. from reading descriptions & looking at pictures, I can NOT tell which it is. Anyoen have any clues or hints???

Queen of Denmark, both the Alba and the Damask is a once-blooming rose and is described as 'Light Pink.' I have corected the error on the rose page to show that 'Cottage Rose' blooms in flushes throughout the season. From the rose page for 'Cottage Rose', it is a medium pink which blooms in clusters.
Hope this helps.
Smiles, Lyn

Is this rose a good repeat bloomer? I was surprised to see in the description that it was an occasional rebloomer. With the parents being Mary Rose and Wife of Bath, I would expect it to have good repeat qualities. I live in zone 9.
