Wow. I know the name and have since my childhood 50ish years ago. I see the pics, I know Henry Field carried it at one point. And yet I don’t think I checked this page until right here, right now. And now nobody grows it. Nobody has it. Almost nobody even “favorited” it…..

This rose is not popular around the world as i see. I got this one last year, when for the first time in my life i bought roses from a professional rose nursery, as i love bright reds it caught my eye. The flowers are very big, it is indeed a very showy rose, the color is bright and velvety. It has many blooms and it is absolutely pretty. The only disadvantage is it lacks fragrance. And i adore those strong scented roses..
