    There are no authenticated photos of CH, the ones out there in books pretending to be him, have long since been proven, as near as can be, to be other Indians, by those who knew them at the time.... it's highly unlikely CH would ever have consented to having a photo taken. He was a 'hostile' all his life...
    One visitor to the reservation before CH was killed, wrote that he was slight of build, and feminine looking..

    Not that I can vouch for her memory or her eyesight. It was drawn a long time after his death and she was presumably pretty old by then.

    I'm afraid I'm not convinced gmc... I think his sister was being polite to the missionary, and it's just a figment of their imagination...looks a lot older than 36.. I still prefer the little nuances one gets from contemporary accounts in those days...
    Whatever, they were all greatly wronged, as even Mrs Custer admitted later in life...
