USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for beds and borders, garden or shrub. Vigorous.

The rose identified as Madame de Tartas in commerce in the United States has been identified as Général Tartas. See References. Général Louis Émile Tartas (1798 - February 25, 1860) took part in several French military expeditions in North Africa, also against Abd-el-Kader in Algeria.
