'Manning's Blush' rose Reviews & Comments

It is my largest rose bush in my garden, by now about 10 ft high and over 6 ft across, much larger than expected when I planted it eight years ago. It is blocking up the centre of my rather smallish garden. And still I am reluctant to remove it, mainly because of the rather nice and fresh smell of green apples that surrounds the bush all summer. The flowers are not as spectacular as one might wish, rather small, but they are nice and delicate. I am trying to get it overgrown by Clematis viticella rubra. Now after 9 years it starts suckering. It is very hardy as to cold winters down to minus 20 degrees Celsius.
