ʻFenja’ (Rosa davidii Crép. × Rosa spinosissima L.) is another interesting rose. Introduced in 1965 the plant is much like Rosa davidii but the flowers are larger and darker. A special feature is its up to 4 cm long bottle shaped hips. ʻFenja’ is named after a sister to the giantess Menja.
