A shining little rose; the foliage glitters and the pink flowers gleam against it. I am puzzled by the usual description of orange red, because  although the  buds are salmon, it is quite a light pink in general effect. Either it behaves differently whether in America or Britain, or else we have the wrong variety. We have a useful one, not only as a handsome plant, but for its fertile pollen. Raised by Ralph Moore from (R. wichuraiana  x`Floradora') x unnamed seedling.  Introduced in 1962
