After several years (and a slow start) in my hot humid Zone 9b yard Golden Buddha has become a small but quite healthy blooming machine.

The historical Buddha (Siddhartha Gautama) was male, so please don't refer to this rose as a "she". It's incorrect. Not all roses are female!

Interesting rose. But mine smelled so much like black pepper that I had to get rid of it.

Blooms constantly, doesn;t mind heat but gets terrible blackspot here. Seems happy enough in a 10 x 10" pot in this climate. I got mine as a band 2 years ago. It's now about 12" tall and a bit wider.
