According to Joyaux, Enzyklopädie der Alten Rosen, S. 220, Sidonie (Dorisy) and Sidonie (Vibert) are one and the same rose. Bred by Dorisy, breeder from Beaume in 1847 and introduced by Vibert.
Unfortunately there is sufficient evidence that there were two roses called 'Sydonie' or 'Sidonie', bred around the same time (1846/47): A Bourbon by Dorisy and a Portland by Vibert. The 'Sidonie' in commerce today is probably one and the same rose. A third, earlier 'Sydonie' was a Gallica.
You should ask Mr. Joyaux for more information. the Sidonies at Sangerhausen and L'Hay are the same rose and both RHs. All photos at HMF show the same rose, as far as one can judge from photos not showing all important details of a plant. If this is true, the Dorisy is no longer existing or sleeping somewhere.
