This is a vigorous rose, and as a shrub it will make a leafy mound and decorate it with a good quantity of bloom for many weeks in summer to autumn... It scored well for novelty and health in its trials, winning Gold Medals and other major prizes. Kordes 1985

A second Gold Medal went to KORlanum ('The Fairy' x seedling) a Cluster Flower with small glossy leaves and pink flowers. It is, in fact, bigger than 'The Fairy' and I have marked it quite highly on several occasions. In my view it has greater garden merit than KORparau.

Sommerwind  (Kordes) Average size bloom in loose clusters and a pure bright pink colour. Plant is bushy, well branched, moderately tall and spreading. Foliage is robust, and lightly glossy.
