Thanks, Allison. I've added all these roses to Ashdown's list. Since you're interested in mosses, would you take a look at a local foundling, "West Point Super Moss"?
It is so mossy that it has moss on the mid-rib of the upper leaf surface. The blooms are rather small, cupped to globular, medium pink, fading to light pink and almost flat. The plant is tall, upright and suckering.

lol, Cass, I had actually seen that you posted this moss just randomly looking at the "new plants" tab earlier today--if you look closely, I liked it so much I added my name onto the cuttings tab! Hahaha! It is truly gorgeous, and the mossing on the leaf surface will definitely help to identify it. I will keep my eyes out for the possibilities in my endless researching of the moss roses. The biggest problem with the mosses is that so few are adequately described in detail in any one place.

Cass-some possibilities: Felicite Bohain--variously described as bright pink to paler pink--could be like yours, that fades, also has reddish moss spreading on to the edges of young leaves, smallish flowers w button eye, surrounded by folded & crinkled petals. Once-blooming. Mousseux du Japon is also reported to have moss extending onto leaves, it's possible yours is an offspring, I will look into any known mosses bred from it.
