Introduced in United States by Edmunds' Roses as 'MACcheup'.
Introduced in Australia by Roy H. Rumsey Pty. Ltd. in 1980 as 'Sundowner'.

Grandiflora.  

Apricot or apricot blend.  Amber to deep apricot. Golden orange..  Mild to strong, fruity fragrance.  35 to 40 petals.  Average diameter 4".  Double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  

Tall, upright.  Large, dark green, leathery foliage.  

Height: 39" to 8'2" (100 to 250cm).  

USDA zone 7b and warmer.  Can be used for cut flower.  Rain tolerant.  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to Mildew.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .
