As you probably already know, bloom size can be affected by many different variables, i.e., climate, culture, siting, etc.
We have updated HelpMeFind to add more descriptive fields for the roses in the database, and are slowly, it's a big database, going back and filling them in so that they may used in advanced searches.
I went back to the original registration for 'Hollywood Star' in the March, 2001 American Rose Magazine (page 45) to update the rose page. I found, that in this case, the breeder, John Sheldon, did not register a specific size for the bloom. He did say that the bloom was "medium sized, full (26-40 petals, and borne mostly solitary."
