Origin:
Bred by Mathias Tantau, Jr. (1912 - 2006) (Germany, 1974).
Introduced in France by NIRP International in 1980 as 'Montana'.
Class:
Floribunda.  
Bloom:
Vermilion.  Mild fragrance.  20 petals.  Large, semi-double (9-16 petals), cluster-flowered, in large clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Short.  Glossy foliage.  

Height: 16" to 35" (40 to 90cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 5b and warmer.  Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower or garden.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
