C.P. Horner, Awards to Rose Seedlings in Great Britain in 1990.
Although Chris Warner, raiser of another Trial Ground Certificate winner CHEwallop is now a professional nurseryman, this light orange red Climbing Miniature first saw the light of day when he was still teaching and living down in Devon. Although this seedling bred from ('Elizabeth of Glamis' x ('Galway Bay' x 'Sutters Gold')) x 'Anna Ford' is very pretty, it is neither as showy nor vigorous as his previous Gold Medal President's International Trophy Winner 'Warm Welcome' or the Certificate of Merit Winner 'Laura Ford' both of which have the same parentage.
Book  (1989)  Page(s) 22.

E. F. Allen, Awards to Third Year Rose Seedlings in Great Britain in 1988.
CHWarvel ('Anna Ford' x ['Elizabeth of Glamis' x ('Galway Bay x 'Surter's Gold')]), another vigorous Climbing Miniature, by Warner, with yellow flowers and good rain resistance. It has a slight but variable scent and is very fertile. Certificate of Merit.
