Bred by Jean-Baptiste André (fils) Guillot (1827-1893) (France, 1888). Bred by Pierre Guillot (1855-1918) (France, 1888).
Introduced in Australia by Robert Rattray's Rosebank Nursery in 1894 as 'Madame Pierre Guillot'.

Bloom:
Copper - yellow, carmine-pink edges.  Yellow-white reverse.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, semi-double to double bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Notes:
Issued jointly by father and son. Dedicated to Marie-Louise Compagnon (January 4, 1865 - September 9, 1926), who married Pierre Guillot on September 2, 1886.
