By US standards I’d call this rose a floribunda based on in- person traits.

From the 2024 Rosen Tantau web catalog:

"Marietta®

(Rosen Tantau 2018) All the advantages of a modern hybrid tea rose combined with the charm of nostalgic roses: Marietta® is a wine-red mix of the best of both rose worlds. These nostalgic looking flowers release an elegant fragrance. The petals grow in a pattern winding around one another in a wonderfully chaotic display. A rose for the romantics amongst us.

Fragrance (3/5 stars in graphics)
Resistance Black Spot (2/4 stars in graphics)
Resistance Mildew (3/4 stars in graphics)
Height 70 - 100 cm"

Online comments by rosarians from presumably Russia seem to confirm to has at least moderate fragrance, as well. It does not state the bloom size, but I suspect its a nudge larger than 3.5"

Horstmann states the bloom diameter as 5-10 cm (2-4")

I ordered one for 2024, so we'll see how it goes. It's stated to be rain resistant AND fragrant. Rain is why Romanticas and many Austins, but not all, fail here in the PNW. We'll see if its all hype.
