Fragrance is indeed "very fragrant", so not false hopes. I tested it for the second time today to report back, for both high and moderate temp days. The type of fragrance was middle of the road type of rose fragrance. Sorry I could not be more specific.

Coloration is not quite as ethereal as Secret. Similar, but a little bit harder in tone.

Form is nice, and foliage seems decent. Growth seems to be straight up, like Lynn Anderson, but not grotesque and massive.

Edit: The pink spreads a small about when the bloom is fully open. So there is a white to pink cloud effect when the blooms are at varying stages together. Not bad imo.

Edit2: Form was excellent today. Fragrance was VERY strong. Sweet rose, I guess. not my thing but most would love it. However, the pink color is not as vibrant as Secret or Lynn Anderson, but more like the pink of Louise Estes or Agnes Winchel. I wish it was a more vibrant pink.

When I saw the given height, the color, and the fact Weeks started using Lynn Anderson again, I knew what part of it probably is. Gonna guess a very simple cross of Secret x Lynn Anderson. If any of you have ever grown Lynn Anderson before, you'd know its the bean pole of all HTs.

There is a picture at Breck's Bulbs. Price is $54.99. "on sale" LOL for $44.99.

Breck's rose prices vary from about $US39.99 up to $US54.99. I will say that they do offer some of the older off patent roses, such as 'Pearly Gates' and 'Mr. Lincoln' for less than the newer patented varieties.

The problem I have with this intro is that I already have 'Miss Congeniality', and it does well in this climate. I dunno about other climates, but my impression is "Why?"

Exhibitors may like the parents of this one though.

Because they have to introduce SOMETHING and this was likely the best in the pipeline for the price they wanted to pay.

Yeah, that's for sure. Hopefully its hardier than Secret, but I doubt it will match the unique form. When Secret or Sheer Elegance are on their A game, they make some of the most unique, perfect bloom forms. Sadly, Secret is prone to snap freeze damage after the buds start to break dormancy, which is why I stopped growing it.
