'Torch of Liberty' rose Description

ARS:
Orange or orange-red Miniature. Registration name: MORtorchExhibition name: Torch of Liberty
Bloom:
Orange or orange-red. Mild fragrance. 40 petals. Average diameter 1.5". Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, cluster-flowered, in small clusters, high-centered, reflexed bloom form. Prolific, blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Medium, bushy, compact, rounded, upright. Medium, semi-glossy, medium green, dense, leathery foliage.
Height: 2' (60cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer. Can be used for beds and borders, container rose or garden. Hardy. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Can be pruned to maintain a shorter habit.
