This was one of my first and favorite roses, I've two cuttings from the mother and 3 seedlings from this rose.

One of my all time favorites- Eglantyne, will be shovel pruned due to rose rosette disease. Abraham Darby, looks like it may be a possible victim. Time will tell with High Society, Social Climber, Elektron. Something appears to have killed Hansa somewhere between July and September - that quick. She was 8 feet tall, and healthy as could be. WHAT IS HAPPENING IN MY GARDEN?????? Morden Blushes are ok. They never were very strong for me.
Afraid to start again..

Simply covered in buds--I am not very patiently waiting to see them open--This was my first choice of rose this year.

Eglantyne: Received this awesome rose from David Austin Roses in Texas in March. I cannot believe the size and health of this bare-root rose! Everything from Mr. Austin has been 100% better than I have ever seen from other top-quality nurseries. From the free catalogue, website, website support (you can have a staff member help plan your garden for free!) to the packaging of my roses to absolutely the roses themselves--all has been overwhelmingly incredible! He has earned a customer for life--if one of his roses is still possible to buy direct from him, I will always choose that route!
We amended our clay soil with composted manure (bagged, as I do not have a resource of my own) and added bone meal and some humus, mixed well. Within a week leaves were apparent as they began to break from the buds. Now, my gorgeous plant is covered in beautiful red new leaves.
