Origin:
Bred by Joseph Pernet-Ducher (France, before 1904).
Introduced in United States by E.G. Hill Co. in circa 1911 as 'Sunburst'.
Introduced in France by Pernet-Ducher, Joseph in 1912 as 'Sunburst'.
Introduced in Australia by H. Kemp in 1913 as 'Sunburst'.
Class:
Floribunda, Hybrid Tea, Pernetiana.  
Bloom:
Yellow, orange center, lighter reverse. [Orange blend.]  Cadmium yellow, centre orange-yellow. An elongated cupped form on stout stems..  Tea fragrance.  Double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, cupped, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long, pointed buds.  
Habit:
Short, few or no prickles/thorns, spreading.  Bronze-green foliage.  5 to 7 leaflets.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
