Thanks, Patricia. I'm of the opinion that 'Louise Walter' was the sport parent that eventually gave us 'Margo Koster' and all its kin. The 'Echo' I saw at the Heritage Rose Garden in San Jose just did not look at all like the Koster clan. Karl
I think this must be an unstable sport. Three nurseries sent me what turned out to be Tausenschon, and of the two later plants I thought would stay small, one has reverted.
This rose blooms constantly even in high temps. It started this year as a very small seedling and grown at a fast rate. It is a dependable bloomer and is now my favorite rose. Vigorous, healthy, no disease or pests. Beautiful blooms.
