Bred by Reimer Kordes (1922-1997) (Germany, before 1956).
Introduced in United Kingdom by Dickson Nurseries Ltd. / Dickson Roses in 1957 as 'Faust'.
Introduced in United Kingdom by Samuel McGredy and Son, Nurserymen (Northern Ireland) in 1957 as 'Faust'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1958 as 'Dr. Faust'.

Bloom:
Golden-yellow, orange-pink shading, ages to deep pink .  Brown-red reflexes, colour changes to deep pink.  up to 25 petals.  Average diameter 2.25".  Medium, double (17-25 petals), in large clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy.  Dark green foliage.  

Height: up to 4'11" (up to 150cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.
