Bred by Samuel Darragh (1932-2019) McGredy IV (1974).
Introduced in New Zealand by McGredy Roses International (New Zealand) in 1978 as 'Kaikoura'.
Class:
Miniature, Patio.  
Bloom:
Orange blend.  Orange-red. Brick-red.  Mild fragrance.  27 petals.  Average diameter 1.5".  Large, in small clusters, flat bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Compact.  Small, dark green foliage.  

Height: 1' to 39" (30 to 100cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant, susceptible to blackspot .  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
