Bred by Sean McCann (Ireland, before 1981).
Introduced in Ireland by Hughes Roses Ltd. (Ireland) in 1981 as 'Bloomsday'.
Class:
Floribunda.  
Bloom:
Orange, brown highlights, golden-yellow reverse.  Moderate, honey fragrance.  up to 28 petals.  Full (26-40 petals), in small clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Upright.  Matte foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Sean McCann saw his first bloom of this rose on Bloomsday (June 16th in Ireland). According to McCann, "What really distinguishes it is that instead of fading cream or white the loose bloom ages to a dark brown."
