Book (1941) Page(s) 129. The late Max Krause has given us this year a new fully double hardy rose of the old Centifolia tribe. Blooms as big as those of Mrs. John laing but in a glorious glowing light red cover the plant in early summer. The scent is marvelous and all I hope is that I may one day get a real Floribunda with this old-rose scent. The plant is strong, hardy, and well-covered with healthy foliage. It is named after his birth town, the 1,000-year-old town Nordhasen.
