The hip that I posted last August started to die back soon after and, when I opened it, I found it contained no seeds.

I like this rose. Scent is still quite faint, but very pleasant if you can smell it. Colours are great. Form is good too. The canes don't seem to be too prickly, although there are also have some small prickles hiding under the leaves. They're not really a bother, though. You can still brush past the foliage without getting snagged. The bush in the photo really needs to be planted out in the ground (as do a lot of others I have) but is doing reasonably well for the moment. Shot on an overcast morning, early autumn, subtropical climate.
