Bred by Mme. Clara Péan-Sylvain (France, before 1839).
Introduced in France by Victor Verdier et fils in circa 1841 as 'Charles Reybaud'.
Introduced in Australia by John Baptist in 1861 as 'Charles Reybaud'.

Tea.  
Bloom:
Light pink, pink reverse.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, full (26-40 petals), in small clusters, flat bloom form.  Ovoid buds.  
Habit:
5 leaflets.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
