Discovered by T. O'Connor (United States, 1891).
Introduced in Australia by E.Horton and Co. in 1900 as 'Ruby Gold'.
Class:
Tea.  
Bloom:
Golden-yellow and light pink.  Large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Different parentages are quoted in the references.

Possibly synonymous with the 1874 ‘Jean Ducher’. Refer Members Comments.
