Introduced in Japan by The Chugai Nursery in before 1940 as 'Yaezakura'.

Bloom:

Rose-pink, lighter edges, ages to lighter . Semi-double, Japanese (anemone, imperial) bloom form. Midseason.

Habit:

Tall.
