Discovered by Marie-Louise (aka Widow,Vve) Schwartz (France, 1890).
Introduced in Australia by E.Horton and Co. in 1900 as 'Roger Lambelin'.
Class:
Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Red, white edges, pink flecks.  Strong fragrance.  30 petals.  Medium, double (17-25 petals), flat bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Arching, bushy.  Large, dense foliage.  

Height: 3' to 5' (90 to 150cm).  Width: 3' to 5' (90 to 150cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to Mildew, susceptible to rust .  Requires good cultivation if it is to perform its best.
