Ay up? Are you from Nottingham? (Not me, I just worked there once.) It's not just roses that have labelling problems. I have a purple single clematis planted between two red climbing roses because it was labelled double white, and a Nashi which is a Manchurian pear. Given the rate at which we are losing nurseries that specialise in heritage roses, we need to support the few remaining to us, while being cautious about the accuracy of what they're selling.

This rose will be growing at the Carrick Hill garden, South Australia, because I'm giving them mine; lovely flowers but it's too prickly for me.
