"Yallum Park Cream" Noisette.  Collected in South-east SA.  Flowers are double, cream with a light yellow centre, sometimes with a transient pink or peach tinge. They can be green at the petal base in the bud. They occur in clusters at the end of, or on sideshoots from, long yellow-green canes. It flowers in flushes but usually has some blooms.  Sweet wafting scent. All of the receptacle has sessile glands. The pedicel is smooth. The leaves are light green and matte. They have 5-7 leaflets, often folded from the midrib, drooping, and elongated. Slightly zigzag growth. The prickles age to grey, are mainly on watershoots, and are often paired. Very large arching shrub-climber.  Healthy

Found Noisettes.
"Yallum Park Cream”, Noisette or Tea-Noisette, collected from a garden which was begun in 1863 in south-east South Australia. Has similarities to Lamarque but the sweet wafting scent is different, and the leaves are lighter green and matte.
Flowers double, light yellow centre, sometimes with a transient pink or peach tinge. In clusters on sideshoots from, or at the end of, long yellow- green canes. It flowers in flushes but usually has some blooms. The hips are small.  Red new growth. 5-7 leaflets, often folded from the midrib, drooping, and elongated. Prickles are black, ageing grey, mainly on watershoots. They can be paired. It makes a very large arching freestanding shrub. Healthy.

p61 Margaret Furness. Update on some roses. As Sue Zwar suggested at the outset, the "Yallum Park Cream" is nearer Noisette, and "Yallum Park Yellow" is nearer Tea. Neither matches any rose in commerce in Australia.

Pat Toolan. Yallum Park, home of Glen Clifford whose family has owned the property since the early 1900s, Mr. Clifford met us on his ride-on which he uses to negotiate this extensive garden. A large specimen of what was signposted botzaris was the first rose we visited. This rose ["Yallum Park Cream"] is not the Damask ‘Botzaris’ but seems to be a Noisette. A lemon yellow double with a pink tinge in autumn and light yellowy-green leaves. A few hooked prickles under the pedicels.
