"Upper Beaconsfield" rose Description

Bloom:
Pink. The blooms of “Upper Beaconsfield” start yellow tipped with apricot, and age to pink at the tips of the petals, with the intensity of the pink colour varying. Moderate, sweet, tea fragrance. 20 petals. Semi-double to double, in small clusters bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns. Leathery foliage.
Height: up to 39" (up to 100cm).

Notes:
The receptacle is constricted at the top. The pedicel has stalked glands, the receptacle has smaller or sessile glands. It sets some hips, with many seeds. There are hooks behind some leaves, but the canes are prickle-free. Leaves are reddish when young, elongated, and leathery when mature.
Found in Alexandra, Victoria. Roses that are being considered for this foundling are Agnes Barclay, and Salmon Spray
