(1965) Page(s) 6. Novelty Roses of 1964. Carnival Queen HT. (Armbrust, 1964). A Queensland raised rose from the man who also won the award of the 'Womans Day' rose. This is a beautiful luminous red of good formation, blooms borne on extra long stems making it ideal for picking. Lovely buds develop to nice blooms of semi-double status and very free flowering. Vigorous growth with lustrous leathery type foliage.

(1962) Page(s) 33. New Climbers. Clg. Montezuma (H.T.) Williams, 1960. A climbing sport of the famous Grandiflora. We firmly predict this will be one of the best climbers ever, because it combines all the brilliance and quality of its namesake in the Grandiflora. The colouring is the same bright scarlet orange with long shapely buds and big double blooms. Very high recommended. 10/6.
(1965) Page(s) 7. Moonlight Mist. (H.T.) Armbrust, 1964. Another Queensland raised rose which we have watched with considerable interest during its testing period, and we rate it highly. Its colouring is rich cream. The delightful buds open into fully double blooms of ample status. This rose has distinct exhibition possibilities. A tall grower, with clean, healthy foliage. 10/6.

(1962) Page(s) 32. Pacific Triumph. Appears to be the equal in every respect to the popular Orange Triumph. Salmon pink with coral shadings. As the flower ages it pales towards the centre. A good type.
