A few days ago I believed this was not William Lobb. But the past days I compared the moss of William Lobb with Baron de Wassenaer. Baron de Wassenaer has brown/red mossballs at micro-look. The ones of William Lobb are more green like my picture. So it is correct after all.

The moss of this big buds doesn't look the same as the pictures of the other bud pics of Baron de Wassenaer. At the next picture the Petals are larger compared to the other pictures of Baron the Wassenaer. Any suggestions about the identity of this Rose? It is a Beautiful Rose (and I want an exemplar of it). But it doesn't compare to the Baron de Wassenaer I do have in my Garden.

How is this exemplar compared to the exemplar at your own Garden? At this picture the Petals looks bigger, almost a 'Hybrid Perpetual'-look. But you did photograph the mossed buds of this exemplar too. I am curious. Does the buds looks simular with the buds of the one at your Garden?
With friendly Greetings, Marnix
