I have had this rose growing on a fence for 4+ years and it has been a beautiful, delightful sight-to- behold since 2 months after planting it! It blooms from early spring through December in Houston. The only reason it doesn't continue to bloom is because I prune it back to about 5 or 6 ' along the fence so it can rest a little. By February it begins to send forth a few blooms but I do NOT fertilize it until April for fear of a late frost or freeze which we do get sometimes around Easter.
