Baltimore Belle rose photo
C,V
Rose photo courtesy of AquaEyes
'Baltimore Belle' was planted in 2014 at the base of an old Japanese Maple that I noticed was on its way out. Each year, sections of the tree would die, and I'd trim it back to substantial branches to serve as support for the rose. This year, the tree finally died, and will have its last twiggy-bits clipped back. Today -- June 10, 2018 -- 'Baltimore Belle' is truly glorious, despite the light rain, and will serve as the shade-provider for this bed, which was planted with things that appreciated the dappled shade previously provided by the now dead tree. :-)

'Delambre' in a 22" resin barrel, after reaching for the sun last year and "self-pegging". Please excuse the pot-palooza -- these are plants for a new garden project in an old cemetery, waiting to go in the ground. Pic taken June 5, 2018. :-)

Forgive the cluster of pots, but these are plants for a new garden I'm putting together at an old cemetery. 'Delambre' is seen in the center, spilling outward as a result of reaching for the light in the morning-sun-only spot where I had it last year. So, this year it's prepping to bloom as if it's pegged. Pic taken May 30, 2018. :-)
