From 'The Argus' newspaper, Melbourne, 7 November 1908, page 24. "Our illustrations show a number of representative blooms, chiefly teas and hybrid teas, together with the bushes on which they were grown. The photographs were taken in Mr. J. J. Morris's garden at Malvern. This amateur grower is well known as an enthusiastic member of the National Rose Society of Victoria, of which body he was for some time president."
