THEY STOLE MY MONEY! I found this nursery initially on this website, helpmefind. I paid money year in advance to have plants reserved for me because roses like Brother Cadfael were not available. When the time came to collect my roses it turned out that nothing was reserved for me (there was no comment why or hint of feeling sorry for it), but still I decided to buy other roses since I already paid. When I arrived there were no roses for me, just lame excuses. When I asked my money back he just cut off the phone call (I could not even find the actual nursery as I was given wrong address directions few times...). I sent 2 email requesting my money back no response...

Hi, what happened there? Is this a reputable seller, does the nursery exist (as you said you could not find it)?

hi, i purchased registered roses from a nursery that seems to be fine. but they did not send a tag for every rose, but only 1 tag per bundle. now how can i legally distribute or exibit these roses if they are registered but do not have tags?

I would contact the breeder/s.

of course i contacted them before posting here, but they just refused and denied promising to deliver labels. i explicitly asked before ordering FEW TIMES. could you please help me find legal information on the matter. are they obliged to give such tags or not?

Just double checking - i meant you should contact the breeder, not the nursery. I seem to recall that years ago, the royalties for breeders on NEW roses were organised by the number of labels supplied by the breeder to the nursery. I am not sure what the situation is when a nursery is selling OLDER roses, out of patent sort-of-thing.

yes, that was my understanding too and you confirmed it. hm, sad that may have to report this nursery to the breeder.

Yes it is sad. But we all want honesty and fairness - the breeders too have families to feed and raise. Let us know how you get on.

to be honest i have less mercy for the breeders families as they have enough money to live comfortable till the rest of their lives. i think god has already provided enough for them. well, maybe i sound cruel but at least ai m honest. i am more concerned for the people like me, who do not have enough money and yet could be fined heavily for something they did not even do.
