Occitanie, France, May 12th, samedi plant. I can't get a clean picture, but I often think it looks like a smaller cousin of Alba Suaveolens on its left, due to their general silhouette, dense matte leaves and pickles. I grow no other bourbon for comparison. Still no blooming past Spring, And again, the vert first flower has this asymetrical/broken corolla shape.

Occitanie, France, own-roots, 2 years old. Geometry of a cluster at early bud stage ; central bud's circumference IS oval, but will grow rounder. I grow another, grafted, 4 years old. It is a beautiful dense shrub, excellent for cut flowers, but up to now not a lot of reblooming.

Occitanie, France, May 12th, same plant. I can't get a clean picture, but I often think it looks like a smaller cousin of Alba Suaveolens on its left, due to their general silhouette, dense matte leaves and prickles. I grow no other bourbon for comparison. Still no blooming past Spring, And again, the very first flower has this asymetrical/broken corolla shape.
