Wow, this rose grows fast, at least the one I have in the sun, growing up a south facing fence. Own root.
EDIT: My favorite rose hands down. Just Beautiful and vigorous. Easy, flexible lax canes are forgiving and easy to tie up. A big thanks to Paul Barden for breeding such a wonderful "old garden" climber
EDIT2: Just Wow! Thinking of training it up onto my house roof. That would be an amazing sight.

Does anybody know how thorny this rose it? Trying to decide between it and climbing iceberg for an arbor to my front door. Iceberg thorniness is fine, but Do Not Want Big Thorny Thorn, Pokey, Poke. Thanks for any help, y'all!

As I remember prickles were average... It's been awhile since I've seen one.
