June 16 2022 zone 8b Portland, OR. This has to be the worst time to plant roses out here - just before the drought. ( I picked the ship date, not the nursery - I think they discourage it if I remember, but I've been after this rose for a couple years.)

Bought a gallon size from Dancing Oaks Nursery here in Oregon in December 2020. It's May 2022 now here in zone 8b Portland. I fertilized this one with green manure / artichoke leaves and winecap fungus. Looks like it's friends with the fungus. Own Root. No Spray

Own root. No Spray. Side yard east of house, zone 8b Portland, OR. June 2022. First year, bought from Rogue Valley Roses as a band. Looks like it's labelled correctly - yay! Fertilized with biochar. It's evergreen here. I haven't built the fence for it to climb on yet. (That fence in the picture belongs to the neighbor.)

I fertilized this one with Bryum sidewalk moss the city crews scraped from the concrete at the halfway houses around here. It's worked into the existing construction ish soil. Own Root. No Spray.
