Based on my first-year experience, I wouldn’t be too afraid of a shady position. Mine did exceptionally well in Z6, despite perhaps only 6 hours of sun at mid-summer.

Made it through the first winter 5b near Syracuse, NY with little die-back, about 6" above the ground are regrowing matched the snow line. Is up front near the road with no other protection with a cornfield (no windbreak) to the north.
Edit: Still doing well, Aumer of 2019. Is one of the most "upright" growing, all flowers at the top of each stem. Very distinct round leaves distinguish it from Olivia Rose, etc. It has topped out at about 3.5' in height

It's just one bush (the one branch on the right, with the larger blooms, belongs to Celsiana, however, which grows behind it). It does not sucker and needs little or no care. An extremely robust rose.

In my blackspot-ravaged Zone 6b garden (and I do spray with Actinovate weekly) this rose is one of the few plants with clean foliage. It's mid-October in CT, now, and it's still putting out perfect pink blooms. I couldn't be happier with this rose! If only my other roses did so well this year...

Love your comments on Quietness! I am in 6a and I just bought one from ARE. Can you please tell me if it is mounding in growth form? I am wondering how it would look growing alone or should I pair it with other large rise bushes. Any other information as to size would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Colleen
