It is nice, isn't it. Only more and more people believe it is actually 'Pink Gruss an Aachen'.

You seem to be the only one who has "Jacques Amyot" in her/his ? garden. Can you please tell me, where I can buy it ?

Marita, in the "Buy From" tab, you will find two French and two US nurseries listing Jacques Amyot (Francia Thauvin spells it as Jacques Amiot on their website).

I see what happened: We have now two entries for Jacques Amyot, as a Noisette and a Damask Perpetual. Let us sort this out and come back to you.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention! I want to always be accurate when I post photos on HelpMeFind! My Jacques Amyot is obviously the Noisette, and I am sorry that I placed the picture in the wrong place! I purchased the rose at Vintage Gardens.

Marita, the only commercially available Jacques Amyot seems to be the pink Noisette. The picture in the purple-red Damask Perpetual listing is also the Noisette and needs to be transferred. I do not believe the DP still exists.

Jedmar, I will move my photo to the Noisette location. Again, I am sorry for my mistake.

No problem at all; the original descriptions were misleading. With new information and comments by users, there is a better understanding now.

Marita, sorry I am late answering your question. It is very obvious to me, now, that I put my Jacques Amyot in the wrong place on HelpMeFind. I didn't know that there were two roses with the same name. I have been checking out sources and it looks like Ashdown Roses has the Noisette by this name. I checked out my plant and I did purchase it at Vintage Gardens. I checked at Vintage and Jacques Amyot Noisette does not seem to be available. They do custom rooting of roses and you might want to get in touch with them and see if it is possible for you to get one that way. Both Vintage Gardens and Ashdown Roses can be contacted online at their sites. I cut mine way back this year and I cannot take a cutting now...but I might be able root one in the future...if so, I would be happy to send you a rooted cutting. I live in So. Calif., are you near here? Best wishes...Missy

Hallo Missy, thanks for your answer and offer of cuttings. But I'm living in Germany and that would make it a little bit difficult. I will try to get Jacques Amyot in France. I'm still wondering if the Noisette and the Damask Perpetuel are the same. Thanks to you and best wishes.
Marita
