Discovered by John Sievers (United States, 1889).
Introduced in Australia by Anderson and Co. in 1897 as 'Rainbow'.

Tea.  

Broadly striped. Rose-pink, carmine-pink streaks, stripes, flecks.  up to 17 petals.  Small to medium, semi-double to double, nodding or "weak neck" bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  

Short.  

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Heat tolerant.  prefers warmer sites.  Prune dead wood.  Prune lightly or not at all.  Remove spent blooms only.  Resist the urge to prune this rose too heavily -- it doesn't like it!.
