Bred to grow short and round with mantua tight sprays. Available at Costco in May 2025. I was there today and there seems to be 2 distinct colors on the available plants, but no plant was showing both. Some were butter yellow and others were a clear bright light yellow.

The variety is covered by US Plant Patent 34553. The patent uses the variety name 'Vanilla Vixen.' However, the name was changed before the rose was introduced . 'Vanilla Vixen' was never used in commerce. The variety just received an American Garden Rose Selection (AGRS) for the north central, northwest, and southwest regions.

A very beautiful rose on my garden with nice foliage, sadly this rose has not bloomed for me despite being in the ground for one full season. I wonder if it blooms on old wood and my spring pruning disrupted it bloom cycle. I'll keep it none the less.

After reading a little more in this thread it seems that I may have gotten a different rose as someone stated they got an incorrectly labeled rose from Rose Petals Nursery. I also got mine from them and I wonder of that is why mine has not bloomed.
