HI it is me again
At the present I am in search of this gorgeous rose, it was a starter gift to me.
The rose is a med yellow with 70 + petals and an aroma to knock ones socks off, here again I wish I could distinguish one odor from the other, when bloomed the flower has a diameter of 3 to 4 inches. At the bud there appears to be a red and yellow mix and as it blooms the red appears to fade as it opens.
The bush is a med green with small spars thorns, it grows to about 3 feet, more like a shrub, because of the long slender growth the bush produces, it blooms through out the season and doesn’t produce a lot of flowers. It appears that each stem has 1 but at times it produces 2 or 3 flowers when they mature. Also I have noticed that is fairly resistant to black spots.
There sure are a lot of roses on this site I get dizzy looking at all of the gorgeous pictures of the beauties.

I'm willing to bet that is an Austin. Look at Golden Celebration, as it can have pink in the Spring.

This could be it, although there is a hint of pink I have yet to see any prominate pink in any of the flowers, all the rest of the discription is a match. Thank you dear lady

Hi I saw Golden Celebration in full bloom yesterday at a local Nursery and there was no hint of pink in any of the blooms. I am on the border of zone 4/5. I think this is Golden Celebration?

My GC is in full bloom and the out petals have pink on them. We had a cool spring, and this isn't unusual with cool temps.

Wendy, I think your right with this rose. I was in your web site and delighted to see your place, nice work on your garden and your web.
I do have a look alike rose to this one it is a smaller bloom, the frequency and the amount of blooms are more inexhaustible it will throw out long stems that turn to a golden beauty of color. The bush has the same similarities as the Golden Celebration but appears to be a climber, so I am just a bit confused with the two. I guess I should list this to see if anyone can help, I have found the advanced help to be very useful

I know people who grow GC and it is climbing their house. Mine has stayed much more compact, but it can get to be a monster. If yours doesn't have large blooms, it could be the cool spring, or it could be a different rose. Check Austin's website.
