Origin:
Bred by Louis Lens (1924-2001) (Belgium, 1988).
Introduced in Belgium by Lens Roses/Louis Lens N.V./Pépinières Louis Lens SA in 1996 as 'Plaisanterie'.
Class:
Hybrid Musk.  
Bloom:
Yellow and pink, lighter reverse, ages to rose-pink .  Mild fragrance.  5 petals.  Average diameter 1.5".  Small, single (4-8 petals), cluster-flowered, in large clusters, flat bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Small buds.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles.  Medium, semi-glossy, reddish-purple foliage.  

Height: 6' to 12' (185 to 365cm).  Width: 6' to 10' (185 to 305cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Can be used for beds and borders, garden, hedge, landscape or shrub.  Can be trained as a climber.  shade tolerant.  Disease susceptibility: disease resistant.  Needs little care; relatively disease-free and quite hardy.
